Take a snug measurement around your rib cage directly under your bust while wearing your current bra and no shirt. To get the most accurate measurement, make sure the measuring tape is flat against your body and straight across your back.
When measuring, add six to the number you get on the tape measure.

Measure around the fullest part of your bust making sure the tape is flat across your body.
Subtract your band size from the number you get on the tape measure when you measure the fullest part of your bust.
Example:
32" on Tape measure band 38" on tape measure bust
38 - 32 = 6"
difference
Every two inches equal one cup size.
Remember, you have already added the 6 inches to calculate your band size.
This woman wears a 38 band and a C cup.
Keep in mind a measurement is a starting point. The accuracy depends on the fullness of your breast and the fit of the bra. All bras fit differently and all bodies are unique.
Good luck!
